Urvi Jacob is a Theatre performer, actor, and storyteller who is currently studying at  The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York City.

She has previously worked in the Journalism sector in Bangalore, India, as a Features writer and a content creator for more than 5 years in startups - YourStory Private Limited, The Collar Club, and The Association For People with Disability (an NGO) respectively. 

She has done stints at leading  national newspapers in the past such as The Times of India (TOI, Bangalore ,Karnataka,MG Road) and The Hindu Group ( Anna Salai, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.) 
 

When not acting and writing Urvi enjoys spending time with her German Shepherd Elsinore 'Elsie' (named after Hamlet's castle!) functional training in the gym, TRX in the park, Reading, baking, and visiting art galleries and museums.
